Siesta Key Beach is no stranger to awards, and now it can add two more to its long list. Our beloved beach was named the No. 1 beach in the country and the No. 11 beach in the world in TripAdvisor’s annual Traveler’s Choice Awards. The awards are based on TripAdvisor users’ reviews, ratings and saves; besides beaches, categories also include restaurants, hotels, attractions, emerging destinations and more.

Siesta Beach named No. 1 in USA (again)

“Dr. Beach” names Siesta Beach the best in the United States for the second time in seven years.

Dr. Beach declared Siesta Key the Best Beach in the U.S. in 2011; it won America's Best and Top Ten website’s award for the Whitest Beach; it also won the "Great International White Sand Beach Challenge.”

I think that makes Siesta Key a Sunshine State must-see.
